With a large specter of disciplines, commercial design is defined as the
construction of structures and facilities for commerce and business. 

This subject aims to introduce students to the design process skills, methods and problem solving necessary for the development of innovative design solutions for successful commercial spaces.

TEACHING STRATEGIES:

Through research and practical exercise, the students are able to understand how a commercial environment operates. The subject's emphasis is towards Interior Design innovation, idea generation and brand awareness within the commercial design sector, covering retail, hospitality, office and educational spaces.

 

 

The program consists of theory based lectures and project based assessment.
